“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell about the wonderful things you have done.”/Psalms 9:1
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”/1 Chronicles 16:34
Thank you Lord for loving me.
Thank you Lord for sending your Son to die for me, despite the fact that I’ll never deserve it, knowing that some may never love you back or accept the sacrifice, and this gift of eternal life, a life of freedom and victory over sin and death. Thank you Lord for loving me that much!
Thank you Lord for loving me despite my imperfection. Despite the many times I ignore you and chase things of this world for pleasure and satisfaction that only You can give. Thank you for chasing me down and in the pit of my despair, the lowest level of my weakness and conviction of how I resisted You, You chased me down, You meet me at those low levels and you forgive me, and You love me anyways despite my imperfection.
Thank you Lord for your grace. Thank you for teaching me where I go wrong. Thank you for teaching me how to move forward, how to follow you, how to live out the instructions in your word. Thank you for taking the storms and the weak sinful moments of my life to show me my desperate need for you. Thank you for taking those moments of imperfection and opening my eyes and heart to your perfection.
Thank you for molding me, taking me apart piece by piece from the way I used to live as conformed to the world, chasing my wants and pleasures, leaning and living out of the desires of my flesh. Thank you for rebuilding and renewing me from my heart to my mind to my body flowing outward for the world to see your light shine through. Thank you for the process of your love, burning away piece by piece the old man of dirt turning me into a new creation in Christ, turning away from the old man and old life towards you a little more today than I did the day before. Thank you for using my brokenness to make your power be seen in the most beautiful of ways. Thank you for using my struggle to help others in need, to help others see you, not me.
Thank you for comforting me in times of trouble, for strengthening me when I’m too weak to stand, for giving me LIFE for eternity when I had no hope, thank you for giving me confidence and boldness to stand firm in your name, to stand against all temptation or any scheme from the evil one.
Thank you for giving me freedom. Freedom to walk out this life not scared of no one or nothing, to be free of worry, doubt, and most of all fear. Thank you for the freedom to walk out this life in the purpose and plan that you have designed specifically for me, to walk against the haters, the lies, and to walk in your truth that says I am one in Christ. I am a child of God. Thank you for taking the death that I deserved to have. For giving me a gift of salvation and taking off the veil over my eyes to see you and this life you’ve given me in the fullness of your love. Thank you for saving me from the broken, sinful, weak, no good, drunken, fool that I was and the life that would have led to. Thank you for loving me anyways.
Thank you for creating all of the beauty I get to walk in and enjoy everyday. Thank you for being there for me when I have nowhere else to turn, thank you for showing me your transforming power through my life and how any person no matter how far they’ve strayed or how bad they are can experience your transforming love and grace too. Thank you for giving me the chance to share Christ with the world, sharing your powerful and literal Word, sharing your Gold in my life and so many others through these messages and on this platform. thank you for all the awesome people you place in my life to encourage me, to speak your truth to me, to be there for me when times are tough, to help me and push me out of my ways and closer to you, to support me in this journey of sharing your love with the world and helping me spread the good news to people who are in need of you. Thank you for using me in my brokenness to make you perfect love and strength known to all who read. Thank you for being the only good part about me.
Thank you Lord for loving me.
