“You made me; you created me.
Now give me the sense to follow your commands.
May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.
I know, O Lord, that your regulations are fair; you disciplined me because I needed it.
Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me, your servant.
Surround me with your tender mercies so I may live, for your instructions are my delight.
Bring disgrace upon the arrogant people who lied about me; meanwhile, I will concentrate on your commandments. Let me be united with all who fear you, with those who know your laws.
May I be blameless in keeping your decrees; then I will never be ashamed.”
Ran across this Word earlier and MAN!!! Am I glad I did! Throughout today my focus was on me and what I had going on a lot. I kept coming to crossroads in my day that left me in places that I couldn’t handle alone which led me to prayer over and over again. Just talking to the Lord, laying everything out on the table to Him and simply asking for help. Looking back over my day, I can see so many moments where I did things I don’t usually do, my focus shifted from me to Him, my focus on every area of my life shifted from doing what I want done to doing what God has called me to do. It blows my mind how God’s Word speaks straight through to our hearts and going to Him, just being straight up and not just asking for help because we want everything to be fine and dandy but going to Him because we need Him. Going to Him out of the loving relationship we have with Him.
I honestly have no clue where I’m going with this but read these powerful words! Think about each line and each letter. Don’t think for knowledge but think by seeking God and to know more of who He is. The biggest lesson learned today just from watching God work little simple miracles in my life is God loves us! He is always faithful in His love for us! His love is providing and never-ending! This relationship is nothing we make it out to be but it’s simply a relationship. A relationship with God! And it’s built on His love for us! Seeing the truth that this relationship with Him is simple and it’s just that, a relationship, Father and child! It goes against everything we make out God to be and this relationship we have with Him but just treat God as who He is! A loving, faithful Father! Treat this relationship with Him as what it is! A connection to God’s heart, His love for me and you!
